Just a quick note to say I have started a Tumblr! It can be found here:

There you'll find sketches and other odds and ends that are a little too informal for this blog. I'll still be posting here, but expect them to be more finished pieces.

Good drawing to you~!!

Anniversary Drawing

So, I believe I mentioned in my last post that I was working on a drawing for my boyfriend. Well, it's done, and I figured it was about time to put it up here! Blog's been too quiet: haven't posted for an entire week! Gonna be getting a new schedule of sorts started for tomorrow. See you then!

Painting WIP

Small section of a painting I'm working on. Yesterday marked four years with my wonderful boyfriend, and I've got a painting I'm working on for him. I won't show you the whole thing, but here's a small section of it!

Daily Drawing

Inspired from a dream the other night.

Daily Drawing WIP

Work in progress. I was cleaning my room all day, and then realized I still needed to do a daily! I've also been watching a lot of Doctor Who, which may have influenced this a bit... finish it tomorrow.

Daily Drawing +Sunday Sketches

Some drawings from today!

First up, some hand studies from The Book of a Hundred Hands by Bridgman:

And here are the sketches from Sunday, when I went to the Long Beach Aquarium with a bunch of awesome people:

Quick sketch for today:

I'll put up the sunday sketches tomorrow. I went to the Long Beach Aquarium with a bunch of folks from VisCom!

Daily Drawing Request Part Two

Bat-squirrel and Robin-deer!

Will add color later.

Daily Drawing Request Part One

So, I got a request the other day! A rather interesting one too: "draw batman as a woodland creature." That sounded like fun, and I finally had a chance to sit down and think about it. The only question was: Which woodland creature? Here are a few studies and sketch ideas. Tomorrow, I'll do a final finished drawing. Let me know which is your favorite!

Daily Drawing + Art Dump

First up, a fairy design for that project I mentioned the other day.

I also realized that I'd said I'd post stuff that I was doing in July, but then never actually got around to it. So here it is!

For four weeks from June 24th - July 20th, I was the TA for University of California, Irvine's COSMOS Summer Camp program for Cluster 5. I helped students design the look and graphics for their mobile apps. All of this was done in collaboration with the students, who provided the photos and the direction they wanted for the apps.

Sunday Sketching

A page of sketches from tonight! I'm working on designing a fairy for a gift. My baby cousin is turning one in December, and I was planning a little watercolor to hang in her room. Still figuring out the direction I want to go in with the design.

Also, there is a chance I won't get to a computer tomorrow. If I don't, I'll get both drawings up on Tuesday.
