Hey folks!
I haven't died! Just been REALLY busy. One of the things keeping me from my dailies is actually working on my film again. I recently bought ToonBoom Animate 2 so I could keep working from home. Soon I'll have a full shot finished from scanning through compositing, and I'll throw that up here. In the mean time: screenshot!
One thing I miss sorely from Animate Pro is the node-based compositing system. Animate just uses linear/layer compositing, which can sometimes get a bit interesting...

Animation Test
This was today's work!
As the description of the video says, it was an experiment to try out a new workflow using Photoshop instead of ToonBoom Animate Pro. Well, after spending the better part of a day on just adding in the mum, I can say that I wish I had access to ToonBoom. There are lots of things that would be easier. Guess I'll just have to work something else out.

Hey, it's animation!
Hey, it's animation!
I figured since I haven't posted anything in a few days, I'd do something a little different! I got a new computer today, and was finally able to install Flash. I was rather excited. Here's a quick animation done over about three episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space 9.
Enjoy!

Trailer!
Hey everyone!
So if anyone's looked through this blog, or especially at the portfolio pages, you're sure to have noticed certain characters. These are for my thesis film, The Many Great Adventures!
The film will be premiering in May, but to whet your appetite, here is the trailer!

Enjoy!
Any feedback would be very welcome!

Reeeeel!
Here it is!
I'm not sure about this whole thing. There's a good chunk of my thesis storyboard in there, as well as a bunch of other random stuff, like the little piece of animation I posted before.

Animashuuns~
I've been working on putting together my portfolio and my reel, so I haven't had time to make anymore comics. However! I'll be putting up my portfolio here probably tomorrow.
In the mean time, here's an exercise from my character animation class that I found while looking for reel-worthy things. I did this Fall 2008, the first semester of my sophomore year.
